Robertson continued to pepper the opposition’s defence and secured a 1-0 win at Welby.
The match marked round three of the Southern Highlands Hockey Association’s first grade ladies competition.
The score was locked at 0-all at half time before Robertson’s Danielle Eringa hit the winner in the second half.
Robertson captain Jess Ditton said it was a good performance from her team.
Ditton said the standout players were Eringa, Jo Gair, Brooke Giggs and first grade newcomers Madison Barton and Eliza Airey.
“We weren’t sure about numbers heading into the game,” she said.
“We had really good opportunities to score but just couldn’t get more on the board.”
Moss Vale coach Trevor Brown said his side was under strength on Friday night.
“Wee had four players out, which we really felt,” he said.
Brown said Moss Vale was impressive defensively, led by Hanna Menzies in the centre.
“The girls played strong defence,” he said.
“Robertson hammered our goal relentlessly and we held them out except for that one goal.
“We had no short corners during the game.
“Robertson had our measure.”
