Dawn services and Anzac marches will be held across many shire towns including Coolamon, Ganmain, Ariah Park and Ardlethan.

OFF AND RACINGCOOLAMON’S AnzacDay race meeting, Carnival of Cups, will follow the march with gates opening at 11.30am.
Hosted at the Coolamon Showgrounds, the event includes flag raising, fashions on the field, live entertainment and the feature event the Coolamon Pacers Cup.
Cost is $10 adults, $5 pensioners and kids under 16 are free.

Southern Aurora Train RideALSO following the Anzac Day ceremony the Southern Aurora Train Ride will be leaving Coolamon Train Station for a special trip to Junee and back.
Starting at 12.45pm, this unique heritage rail experience is not to be missed.
Tickets are $30 adults, six to14 year olds $15 and kids under fivetravel free.
All payments must be made in cash and there are no facilities on the train so BYO lunch.

Teacher tops classCONGRATULATIONS to Coolamon Central School teacher Joshua Celi who recently was awarded NSW/ACT Young Achiever, Aboriginal Education Council Aboriginal Education Award for his work in furthering the educational opportunities of Indigenous students in Coolamon.
