TWO BUSINESSES at the Lithgow Shopping Centrewere robbed yesterdaybetween 1.30pm and 2pm. CCTV footage supplied to police revealed the perpetrator to be a female aged between 18-21 years old, with a thin build and red, shoulder length hair. The woman is reported to have placed a number of items into a Target shopping bag before leaving both stores without paying. Anyone with information can contact Lithgow Police on 6352 8399.

Thieves strike council depot

THIEVES have entered a Lithgow City Council Depot yard on Mort Street and stolen aram guardfrom an excavator. The theft is reported to have occurred at 11.30pm last night. Police were called and patrolled the areabut the offenders had fled the scene. Police will review CCTV footage in the hope of identifying the persons responsible.

Home garage looted

A GARAGE on a residential property on Inner Crescent was broken into sometime on theevening of April 17. The garage was secured at the time but thieves forced the lock on door to gain access. Once inside the thieves stole a concrete saw, a nail gun and a wheelbarrow cumulatively valued at almost $3000. Anyone with information should contact Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000.

Tyres slashed

A green Hyundai Excel had all four of its tyres slashed while parked in front of a residence on Bell Street in Portland overnight. Police attended the scene and are asking anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
