The event will be held at“Mulyan” in North Logan Rd, Cowra on Thursday, April 28at 2pm about using cover crops in vegetable production to improve soil health and grow better crops.

The afternoon will start with a talk outlining what the Soil Wealth team has learnt about cover crops from the experience of working with leading growers and advisors.

This is important information for growers about how cover crops have improved crop yields and quality, and to share practical lessons on integrating cover crops into vegetable production – when and how – as well as managing the transition from cover to cash crop, specialised cover crops such as bio-fumigants, and how to deal with crop pests and diseases.

The talk will be followed by a farm walk at the Cowra demo site to look and discuss:
